Tegrown is a small initiative leading to a better innovation in the segment. Running a small scale tea cultivation is a bitter occupation to many in The Nilgiris. From the time of conceptualization of my research problem as a partial fulfillment of Ph.D research, being a small scale farmer made us economically isolated. This made us think of an alternative remedy but few made a shift in occupation rather than feeding the corrupt. The present Central Government is an eye opener, providing better chances to innovative human resources, hence this initiative.

Though the concept of green tea is available right from the time of humans used tea as a beverage, Corporates are harvesting its benefits by mass production and mass promotion exploiting the smaller segments. The modern era is helping even a market niche to thrive. The best from the tea can be utilized by selective propagation and hygienic production methods. The quality could be vitalized by brooding the tea trees in a better farm management and Tea Sprouts is a result of such innovation.
The Process
The process is a hard work of research over a period of 6 years and subject Patent under IPR and will be published before the commencement of the marketing operations.
The effectiveness of the product.
As a matter of survival and also to save the tea farmers, the reasoned theory was examined by isolating a part of the tea garden. Apart for the conventional modus of operanda, the selected plants were groomed with a different agronomical practice which existed in India around hundreds of years before.
